Just plugging the Camera into the USB port does not set the camera up to use. It requires that the CD or downloaded software for the camera (software drivers) be installed properly. Once you have properly install the software drivers for camera, DO NOT UNPLUG it from the USB port unless you have powered down your laptop computer or Desktop Computer as it will cause the Camera drivers to become corrupt. Like wise plug the camera into the USB port before powering up your laptop or the desktop computer so it will recognize the camera and drivers that are installed.

I have a GE Easycam HO98063 and it works with macam 0.9.0. BUT it shows itself as a trust spacecam 120. Video is overly dark even when brightness is turned all the way up.
The setting's for daylight or nightime makes no diffrence. Even when the light is on in the room it still looks like i have no light on with the light off you cant see a thing even with just the monitors light. In windows the video is clear and bright even in the dark with only the monitors as light. Also sometimes when i move my mouse it will cause the cam to stop working and sometimes its not affected.
Saying a usb comunication failure in ASP under the usb tab it shows the same Product ID and vendor ID as the trust spacecam 120 0x0c45 0x600d. Maybe the 2 cams are the same but repackaged. I am running OS X 10.4.8.

A ADB mouse dont mess with the cam but it does not have 2 mouse buttons. It might be the USB PCI card doing that, or maybe its still a driver or hardware issue for the Cam, i tryed on my G4 Mac that has built in USB and it does the same with that so i can rule out the USB PCI card being a issue. The picture is still way to dark in a well lighted room. So much you can not see me unless a light is right in front of me no matter how high you set the brightness.
I put in on my PC and installed the software for it and it might not be the best picture but its bright and clear in a dim lighted room. So now i keep that on my PC and bought a cam that has Mac drivers for my Mac. The cam staying on when you first boot up seems to be normal for a non iSight cams cause it does it with my new Cam on my Mac, it will stay on untill i start a App that uses the Cam and quit the App then the Cam turns off, seems like a good way to be spied on.
